Composition

Shalom Aleichem, as predicted I missed a part of my morning routine today because I stayed up late but I was able to still get stuff done. I’m writing this to take a break from formatting my composition because it is taking more time then expected and I needed a break. As such while I will post a rough transcript of my composition with this it will still be lacking dynamics, and I’m rewriting the ending and as such I will post it again, with dynamics, and with a proper ending sequence tomorrow.

3 altered rule-sets for chess because I could:

  • Sworn Enemy: both players write down on a hidden piece of paper a list like this
    • K1 w – P4 b
    • P1 w – P2 b
    • etc
assigning to all of your pieces a sworn enemy for all of your pieces can’t capture any of your opponents’ pieces until they capture there assigned piece.
(this one, while it can lead to very interesting setups, can become really problematic really quickly so I devised…)
  • Romeo and Juliet: both players write down on a hidden piece of paper a list like this
    • K1 w – P4 b
    • P1 w – P2 b
    • etc
assigning to all of your pieces a forbidden love your pieces can capture any opponent piece except for their orbidden love
  • Set Chess v1: like regular chess except on your turn instead of moving a piece you can remove from the board three pieces, at least two of which aren’t in there starting position, which are an equal number of squares, said square need not be unoccupied, from each other either in straight lines or diagonally.
  • Set Chess v2: same as v1 except that the three pieces must either be three of the same piece or three different pieces, queen and king are treated as the same for purposes of this rule.
sorry for the low quality tomorrows version will look better
